If you’re looking for a venue with a difference, our 300 sq/m permanent overhead awning surrounded by subtropical gardens and natural melaleuca forest is a unique and inspiring setting for any conference.
Conference Venue
Our point of difference is the venue setting. The awning has an outdoor, environmental feel, while providing protection from the elements. With two large eucalyptus trees soaring up through the roof overhead, the awning blends into the surrounding forest and gardens beautifully. This unique structure has a distinct energy which translates perfectly into a learning environment – hence why it is known as the COLA (Covered Outdoor Learning Area).

Aside from the COLA, our facilities also include an indoor function room, large undercover seated meals area and a covered stage area. The indoor function room has a mounted flat screen, whiteboards and an audio system.

Accommodation
Our self contained, lofted cabins are located privately amongst the gardens, providing comfortable, affordable accommodation for conference delegates. These bungalows have a queen bedroom downstairs, along with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining and a separate bathroom. This level is fully wheelchair accessible. Upstairs is an open plan loft style sleeping area with a queen bed and 2-4 single beds. If more beds are required, we have access to additional accommodation at neighbouring properties.
Catering
Catering is sourced externally and we have a range of very good local caterers who we are happy to recommend. Caterers can use our facilities if required; including the indoor meeting room and undercover outdoor kitchen.
Travel
For interstate and international delegates, we are conveniently located just 25 minutes from Newcastle Airport or a 2.5 drive from Sydney. Transport from the airport to The Oasis is easily arranged via Port Stephens Coaches.
